لا بدّ أن تقوم الخصائص الجوهرية للأمريكية اللاتينية الحقيقية على ما تقوم عليه حسن الجوار، أي: التفاهم المتبادل، وعبر هذا التفاهم، التقدير المتعاطف لوجهة نظر الآخر. وبهذا وحده نأمل في بناء منظومة تكون الثقة والصداقة وحسن النية حجر أساسها.
