ربما يكون كرهي للحرب هو ما يُعمي بصيرتي عن فهم الحجج التي يسوقونها. لكنني أرى أنه لا وجود لشيء اسمه الحرب الوقائية. ومع أن هذا الاقتراح يتكرر، لم يفسّر أحدٌ بعدُ كيف تمنع الحربُ الحربَ. والأسوأ من ذلك أن أحدًا لم يستطع أن يدحض حقيقة أن الحرب تخلق الظروف التي تولّد الحرب.
