والحقّ أنّ دافنشي العظيم ظلّ طفلًا طوال حياته من أكثر من وجه. يُقال إنّ كل العظماء لا بدّ أن يحتفظوا بجانبٍ طفوليّ. وحتى وهو راشد ظلّ يلعب، وكان هذا سببًا آخر في أن يبدو غريبًا وغامضًا لمعاصريه في أغلب الأحيان.
