اعلم أنّ الصعوبات التي تُربك السؤال عن غاية الكون أو غاية أيّ جزء منه تنشأ من سببين: أولهما أنّ الإنسان يتصوّر نفسه تصوّرًا خاطئًا، فيظنّ أنّ العالم كلّه إنما وُجد من أجله، وثانيهما جهلُه بطبيعة العالم دون القمر، وبقصد الخالق إلى إيجاد كلّ الموجودات الممكنة الوجود، لأنّ الوجود لا ريب خيرٌ.
