أحيانًا تخونني شجاعتي، فأظن أنني ينبغي أن أتوقف عن العمل، وأعيش في الريف، وأكرّس نفسي للبستنة. لكنّ ألف رابطة تشدّني، ولا أدري متى أستطيع أن أدبّر أموري على نحو آخر. ولا أدري أيضًا هل أستطيع، حتى بتأليف الكتب العلمية، أن أعيش بعيدًا عن المختبر.
