يجب ألا نكفّ أبدًا عن إعلان مبادئ الحرية وحقوق الإنسان العظيمة بنبرات لا تهاب، وهي الإرث المشترك لعالم الناطقين بالإنجليزية، والتي تجد أشهر تعبير عنها، عبر الماغنا كارتا ووثيقة الحقوق وأمر الإحضار القضائي والمحاكمة أمام هيئة محلفين والقانون العام الإنجليزي، في إعلان الاستقلال الأمريكي.
