المنعة في الذات، والضعف في الخصم. المنعة شأنُ الدفاع، والضعف شأنُ الهجوم. لذلك يستطيع المحاربون المهرة أن يكونوا منيعين، لكنهم لا يستطيعون أن يجعلوا الخصم ضعيفاً. ولهذا قيل إن النصر يُدرَك ولا يُصنَع.
