القول بأن النحت أجلّ من الرسم لأنه يحتوي على البروز، والرسم لا يحتويه، قولٌ باطل تمامًا... بل كم يكون الرسم أجلّ بالأحرى، إذ يبدو وقد خلا من البروز تمامًا، وكأنه يملك منه بقدر ما يملكه النحت!
