أنا ممتنّةٌ للطريقة التي نشأتُ عليها، أن أكون متفائلة. حتى حين اشتدّت الأوقات، حاولتُ دائمًا أن أنظر إلى الجانب المُشرق. وحتى حين أُهنتُ وصُرخ في وجهي وشُعرتُ بالضآلة، ظللتُ أظنّ أنّ الأمور بخير. لكنّني أدركتُ متى يكفي الأمر.
