أن تفعل دون قصدٍ مُسبَق، وأن تشتغل دون أن تجعل من ذلك تجارة، وأن ترى العظيمَ في الصغير والكثيرَ في القليل، وأن تردّ الإساءةَ بالإحسان، وأن تُنجز الصعبَ وهو ما زال سهلًا، وأن تُدير الأمرَ العظيمَ وهو في بداياته؛ هذا هو منهجُ الطاو.
