نريد أن نحقّق نظامًا جديدًا أفضل للمجتمع: في هذا المجتمع الجديد لا ينبغي أن يكون هناك غنيّ ولا فقير، وعلى الجميع أن يعملوا. لا أن تنعم قلّةٌ من الأغنياء، بل أن ينعم بثمار عملهم المشترك جميعُ العاملين. وينبغي أن تخدم الآلات والتحسينات الأخرى تيسير العمل على الجميع، لا أن تُمكّن قلّةً من الثراء على حساب الملايين والعشرات من الملايين من الناس. وهذا المجتمع الجديد الأفضل يُسمّى المجتمع الاشتراكي.
