أُغيّر أشياء كثيرة، وأُلقي أخرى، وأُعاود المحاولة مرّةً بعد أخرى حتى أرضى؛ ثم أبدأ في رأسي بتفصيل العمل في سعته وضيقه وعلوّه وعمقه... أسمع العمل وأراه أمامي من كل زاوية كأنه صُبّ في قالب، ولم يبقَ إلا عناء كتابته.
