لو استطعنا أن نعيش بلا زوجة يا مواطني روما، لتخلّصنا جميعاً من هذا البلاء؛ ولكن بما أن الطبيعة قضت بأننا لا نستطيع أن نعيش في راحة معهنّ، ولا أن نحيا دونهنّ بأي حال، فعلينا أن نخطّط لبقائنا الدائم لا لمتعتنا العابرة.
