منذ زمن بعيد تعلّمتُ ألّا ألقي باللوم على الولايات المتحدة في تخلّف البرازيل. علينا أن نلوم أنفسنا. فتخلّفنا سببه نخبة لم تفكّر طوال قرن في الأغلبية، وخضعت للمصالح الأجنبية.
