لقد اختصرتُ سياستي في كراهية تامة لكل الحكومات القائمة، وهو أقصر الشعور وأكثره إرضاءً وحسماً يمكن تصوّره؛ ولو قامت جمهورية عالمية، لتحوّلتُ في لحظتها إلى مناصر لاستبداد فردي لا يُرَدّ. فالحقيقة أن الثراء سلطة، والفقر عبودية في كل أنحاء الأرض، ولا يكون نوعٌ من النظم أفضل للشعوب أو أسوأ من غيره.
