لو سارت أوروبا تحت قيادة الرايخ، لتوحّدت سريعاً. وما إن يُستأصل السمّ اليهودي حتى يصبح التوحيد أمراً يسيراً. فرنسا وإيطاليا، اللتان ستُهزم كلٌّ منهما تباعاً بفارق بضعة أشهر على يد القوتين الجرمانيتين، كانتا ستنجوان من ذلك. وكان كلاهما سيضطر إلى التخلي عن طموحاته غير المشروعة في العظمة، وعن ادعاءاته في شمال أفريقيا والشرق الأدنى؛ وهذا كان سيتيح لأوروبا أن تنتهج سياسة جريئة من الصداقة تجاه الإسلام.
