يضع كل ضحية للانتحار بصمته الشخصية على فعله، وهي بصمة تعبّر عن مزاجه والظروف الخاصة التي كان فيها، ولذلك لا يمكن تفسيرها بالأسباب الاجتماعية والعامة للظاهرة.
