علمُ التصميم، أو رسمِ الخطوط إن شئتَ هذا التعبير، هو أصلُ الرسم والنحت والعمارة وجوهرها... وأحيانًا يبدو لي... أن كلَّ أعمال العقل والید البشرية هي التصميمُ ذاته أو فرعٌ من هذا الفن.
