لم أكن أحب الحفلات. لم أكن أجيد الرقص، والناس كانوا يخيفونني، لا سيما الناس في الحفلات. كانوا يحاولون أن يكونوا مثيرين وظريفين وذوي نكتة، وإن كانوا يأملون أنهم بارعون في ذلك، إلا أنهم لم يكونوا كذلك. كانوا فاشلين فيه. وكان جهدهم الشديد يزيد الأمر سوءاً.
