الحبّ... لا وجود له. ما يربط الأسرَ والزوجين ببعضهما، ليس حباً. إنه الغباءُ أو الأنانيةُ أو الخوف. الحبّ غير موجود. المصلحةُ الذاتية موجودة، والتعلّقُ القائم على المكسب الشخصي موجود، والرضا عن النفس موجود. أما الحب فلا. الحبّ يجب أن يُعاد اختراعه، هذا أكيد.
