أيها الأبطالُ الذين بذلوا دماءهم وفقدوا أرواحهم! أنتم الآن ترقدون في تربة بلدٍ صديق، فارقدوا بسلام. لا فرقَ عندنا بين «الجونيّين» و«المحمدين» وهم يرقدون جنبًا إلى جنب في هذه البلاد. وأنتنّ أيتها الأمهاتُ اللواتي أرسلن أبناءكنّ من بلادٍ بعيدة، امسحن دموعكنّ؛ فأبناؤكنّ يرقدون الآن في حضننا وفي سلام. لقد فقدوا أرواحهم على هذه الأرض، فصاروا أبناءنا أيضًا.
