الإنسانُ إنسانٌ بفضل الآخرين. لا يأتي أحدنا إلى العالم مكتمل التكوين؛ ولن نعرف كيف نفكّر أو نمشي أو نتكلّم أو نسلك سلوك البشر لولا أن تعلّمناه من بشرٍ مثلنا. نحتاج إلى الآخرين كي نكون بشرًا. أنا كائنٌ لأن الآخرين كائنون. ومن حق الإنسان أن يعيش في جماعةٍ مستقرة، وأولى هذه الجماعات الأسرة.
