لو علمتُ أن هذا اليوم هو آخر مرة سأراك فيها، لضممتُك بقوة، ودعوتُ الرب أن يكون حارسًا لروحك. ولو علمتُ أن هذه آخر مرة تعبر فيها هذا الباب، لاحتضنتُك وقبّلتُك وناديتُك لتعود مرة أخرى. ولو علمتُ أن هذه آخر مرة سأسمع فيها صوتك، لتشبثتُ بكل كلمة لأستطيع سماعها مرارًا وتكرارًا. ولو علمتُ أن هذه آخر مرة أراك فيها، لأخبرتُك أني أحبك، ولم أفترض بحماقة أنك تعرف ذلك من قبل.
