حين نتحدث عن تغير المناخ، فأنت ضحيةُ أمرٍ... يتجذّر منذ زمن بعيد، ولا تملك أيّ سيطرة عليه. والناس يريدون فقط أن يختاروا حياتهم. وهذا بالغ الأهمية. وأرى أن أحد العناصر الأساسية في المعركة الجماعية التي نخوضها اليوم لمكافحة تغير المناخ هو منح الناس القدرة على اختيار حياتهم، وعلى أن يعيشوا حياةً أفضل بتصرّفٍ مختلف، وبالابتكار، وبإنشاء أنواعٍ جديدة من الشركات والمشاريع الناشئة، وأنماطٍ جديدة من النشاط.
