لكنّ حالتي مختلفة: فحين تنتهي ولايتي الرئاسية سأعود إلى مدينتي الصناعية الصغيرة، على بُعد ثمانمئة متر من نقابة العمال المحلية التي صنعت حياتي السياسية. وإن فشلتُ، فحين أعود إلى مسقط رأسي سيستغرق الأمر قرنًا آخر حتى يبلغ الرئاسة عاملٌ آخر، عضوٌ آخر من الطبقة العاملة، لأنّ الناس سيقولون إنّ العمال ليسوا أكفاء لإدارة بلد.
