أؤمن بأنّ من الصعب جدًّا في عالم اليوم أن تستمرّ مجموعة الثماني وحدها دون أن تأخذ في الحسبان أهمّية البرازيل والصين والهند، وكثير غيرها من الاقتصادات العالمية؛ فهذه البلدان مستهلكة كبرى، وهي تصبح منتجة كبرى أيضًا. كما أنّنا كنّا أفضل استعدادًا من البلدان الغنية لمواجهة الأزمة العالمية الراهنة.
