صارت الاغتيالات والاختطافات والتفجيرات الانتحارية من الممارسات المعتادة أكثر مما ينبغي في العالم الإسلامي، حتى إنّ اسم الإسلام نفسه تراجع في عيون كثيرين. إنّ المسؤولية تقع على عاتقنا جميعًا، وخصوصًا على عاتق من يهمّهم دينهم في العالم الإسلامي، في أن ينقذوه من ارتباطه المتزايد بالعنف.
