أن تُدرك شيئًا تجريديًا يعني، باختصار، ألّا تُدرك بعض جوانبه. فهو يستلزم اختيار بعض الصفات، وإهمال صفات أخرى، وخلق أو تشويه غيرها. نحن نُصيّره كما نشاء، ونحن نخلقه.
