أقول لكم إنّ الله، لأنه يحبّنا، يمنحنا نعمةَ الألم. فالألمُ مِكبَرُ صوتِ الله ليوقظ عالمًا أصمّ. إنّنا كقطعِ حجرٍ يَنحتُ منها النحّاتُ صُوَرَ البشر، وإنّ الضرباتِ التي توجعنا كثيرًا من إزميله هي ما يجعلنا كاملين.
