كلّما اشتدّ توقنا إلى ما هو زائد عن الحاجة، لاقينا من العنت أكثر؛ فتُستنزف قوّتنا وممتلكاتنا في أشياء لا لزوم لها، ثم تعوزنا حين نحتاج إلى ما هو ضروري.
