لا تصنع لنفسك تمثالًا منحوتًا لله»، كما يُقال. وينبغي أن تسري هذه الوصية حين يُقصد بالله الجزءُ الحيّ في كل إنسان، الجزءُ الذي لا يُمسك. إنها خطيئة، مهما ارتكبناها في حق الآخرين، فإننا نرتكبها في حق أنفسنا باستمرار تقريبًا، إلا حين نُحب.
