أحبّ التاريخ والثقافة الروسيّين وأحترمهما كثيرًا. لكنّ العالم يتغيّر، وروسيا تتغيّر معه. روسيا جزءٌ من العالم الحديث، لا عالم الماضي، بل العالم المعاصر. وأظنّ أن لها مستقبلًا أعظم من دول أخرى لا تستطيع رعاية شبابها وأجيالها الجديدة وأطفالها، وتظنّ أنها تستطيع أن تترك الأمور تمضي على هواها.
