أولًا، من الواضح أن جهودنا في كوريا قادرة على كسر عزيمة الشيوعيين الصينيين على مواصلة الصراع. وقد خاضت قوات الأمم المتحدة قتالًا عظيمًا في كوريا، وأنزلت بالعدو خسائر فادحة جدًا. وقواتنا اليوم أقوى مما كانت عليه من قبل. وهذه حقائق جلية قد تثني الشيوعيين الصينيين عن مواصلة هجومهم.
