إنّ الحرية لا تنالها أمّة دون معاناة وتضحية، وقد أثبتت ذلك بجلاء الأحداث المأساوية الأخيرة في هذه القارة. نحن في خضمّ صعوبات لا مثيل لها ومعاناةٍ لا تُحصى؛ مررنا بأيام مظلمة من القلق والألم، لكنّي أستطيع أن أقول بثقة إنّنا، بالشجاعة والاعتماد على الذات وبتوفيق من الله، سنخرج منتصرين.
