ما دام الرجل الأبيض يفعل ذلك فهو مقبول، أمّا الرجل الأسود فلا يُفترض أن تكون له مشاعر. فإذا ردّ الرجل الأسود الضربة صار متطرفًا، ويُفترض أن يجلس مستسلمًا لا مشاعر له، لاعنفيًّا، وأن يحبّ عدوّه مهما كان الهجوم، لفظيًّا أو غير لفظي، وعليه أن يتحمّله. فإن وقف في أيّ شكل ليدافع عن نفسه، صار متطرفًا.
