إيران أرضٌ عريقة، وموطنُ ثقافةٍ فخورة بتراثٍ غنيّ من العلم والتقدّم. ومستقبل إيران سيقرّره شعبها. والشعب الإيراني يواجه اليوم أسئلة صعبة حول كيفية بناء مجتمع حديث في القرن الحادي والعشرين، يجمع بين الإسلام والازدهار والحرية. وثمة تاريخ طويل من الصداقة بين الشعب الأمريكي والشعب الإيراني. وحين يمضي الشعب الإيراني نحو مستقبل يتّسم بمزيد من الحرية ومزيد من التسامح، فلن يجد صديقًا أفضل من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
