أعترض بشدة على أن كثيرًا من الصحف قد أوحت للشعب الأمريكي والعالم بأن أمامي خيارين فقط في موقفي هذا: إما السجن وإما الجيش. وثمة خيار ثالث، وهذا الخيار هو العدل. فإن ساد العدل، وصُونت حقوقي الدستورية، فلن أُرغم على الذهاب لا إلى الجيش ولا إلى السجن. وأنا على ثقة بأن العدل سينصفني في النهاية، فالحقّ لا بدّ أن يسود في آخر الأمر.
