الملائكة والشياطين على السواء يجهلون الغيب، ومع ذلك يتنبأون. أما الملائكة فتتنبأ حين يكشف الله لها الغيب ويأمرها بالتنبؤ، فيقع ما تتنبأ به. وأما الشياطين فتتنبأ أيضًا، لكن تنبؤاتها ليست سوى تخمينات مبنية على ما تراه من بعيد.
