مفهومي عن الديمقراطية أن يُتاح فيها للأضعف ما يُتاح للأقوى من فرص... لا تُظهر أيُّ دولة في العالم اليوم نظرةً إلى الضعفاء تتجاوز الرعاية المتعالية... الديمقراطية الغربية، كما تعمل اليوم، فاشية مخفّفة... ولا يمكن للديمقراطية الحقيقية أن تُدار من عشرين رجلاً جالسين في المركز، بل يجب أن تُدار من القاعدة، بأيدي أهل كل قرية.
