أين هم الآن، بعدما عاد نحن الرجال الذين أرسلوهم إلى الحرب؟ هؤلاء قادةٌ تخلّوا عن جنودهم، وليس في قانون الحرب جريمةٌ أخطر من هذه. يقول الجيش إنهم لا يتركون جرحاهم أبدًا، ويقول سلاح مشاة البحرية إنهم لا يتركون حتى قتلاهم. أما هؤلاء فقد تركوا كل الضحايا وانسحبوا خلف ستارٍ تقيٍّ من الاستقامة العامة، تاركين خلفهم جوهر سمعتهم الحقيقي يبيضّ تحت شمس هذا البلد.
