ربما اختار اللهُ الهيئةَ الأولى للكون، أو ربما تحدّدت هي نفسها بقوانين العلم. وفي الحالتين يبدو أنّ كلّ ما في الكون سيتحدّد بعد ذلك بالتطور وفق قوانين العلم، ولذلك يصعب أن نرى كيف نكون أسيادَ مصائرنا.
