مرض الطبيب أشدّ دائماً من أمراض مرضاه. فالمريض لا يشعر إلا بالألم، أمّا الطبيب فإلى جانب الإحساس يملك تصوّراً وافياً لأثر المرض المدمّر في بنيته. وهنا يقرّب العلمُ الموتَ.
