صِف الأشياء الهزلية بأسلوب فخم رصين. فاللاانتظام، أي المفاجئ والمدهش والمذهل، جوهريّ للجمال ومن سماته. صفتان أدبيتان أساسيتان: ما فوق الطبيعة والسخرية. ومزيج الغروتسكي بالمأساوي يجذب العقل، كما يجذبه التنافر عند الآذان المتبلّدة. تخيّل لوحة لمهزلة غنائية سحرية، لعرض صامت، ثم حوّلها إلى رواية جادّة. أغرق الكلّ في جوٍّ شاذّ حالم، جوِّ الأيام العظيمة… ميدان الشعر الخالص.
