التقيتُ قبل أيام في برلين عددًا من اللاجئين السوريين، فأدهشني مدى ما هم عليه من تعليم وذكاء ووطنية. إنهم يريدون العودة، ويحبّون بلادهم. ولا يزال كثير منهم في الأردن، وفي مخيمات اللاجئين في لبنان وتركيا، لذلك لو استطعنا تهيئة المناخ الذي يمكّنهم من العودة، فإني أعتقد أن في سوريا تاريخًا طويلًا من العلمانية، بل من التسامح، بحيث إذا استطعنا التعامل مع داعش، نعم، هذا هو المفتاح. أما مع وجود داعش هناك، فلا فرصة البتة.
