كسب ثقة الرجال يتطلب الكثير من القائد؛ عليه أن يتحلّى بالعناية والحذر، وأن يرعى جنوده، ويعيش معهم المشقّات ذاتها، وقبل كل شيء أن يطبّق الانضباط الذاتي. لكن إذا نال ثقتهم، فسيتبعونه عبر الجحيم وما وراء الماء.
