لستُ أرى سبباً يدعو إلى الاعتقاد بأن النساء، في المتوسط، أقوى جسدياً أو عقلياً أو أخلاقياً من الرجال، ومع ذلك لا أستطيع أن أغمض عينيّ عن حقيقة أن كثيراً من النساء أوفر حظاً في هذه الصفات كلها من كثير من الرجال. ولستُ أدري بأي مسوّغ من العدل أو السياسة العامة يُغلَق بالقوة أمام النساء ذوات الحيوية والكفاءة مجالٌ مفتوح أمام أضعف الرجال وأجهلهم.
