الانضباط يصنع الرجال الأشدّاء. وكلّ رجل شديد قادر على أن يكون قاتلاً، لكنّ كلّ قاتل ليس قادراً على أن يكون رجلاً شديداً، فهو لا يحتمل كلّ ذلك. كلّ الأمر في الاحتمال. ولهذا يصير القتلة قتلة: لأنهم لا يحتملون الألم، فيحتاجون إلى قتل الألم كي يوقفوه.
