لا يمكن أن يوجد خطابٌ ديني يتعارض مع محيطه ومع العالم، ولذلك نحن المسلمين بحاجةٍ إلى تجديد هذا الخطاب الديني. وهذا لا علاقة له بالعقيدة والمعتقدات الدينية، فهي ثابتة لا تتغير. لكننا نحتاج إلى خطابٍ جديد يتلاءم مع عالمٍ جديد، ويزيل بعض المفاهيم المغلوطة.
