نحن tعتمد على كلماتنا... ومهمّتنا أن ننقل التجربة والأفكار إلى الآخرين. علينا أن نسعى باستمرار إلى توسيع نطاق وصفنا، على ألّا تفقد رسائلنا بذلك طابعها الموضوعي أو وضوحها الذي لا لبس فيه... نحن معلّقون في اللغة على نحوٍ لا يتيح لنا أن نقول ما الأعلى وما الأسفل. وكلمة «الواقع» هي أيضاً كلمة، وهي كلمة علينا أن نتعلّم استعمالها استعمالاً صحيحاً.
