يُنفَّذ الإرهاب عن قصد، وبدمٍ بارد ووفق حساب دقيق. وقد تتبدّل الأهداف المعلنة للإرهابي من مكان إلى آخر؛ فهو يزعم أنه يقاتل لإصلاح مظالم اجتماعية أو دينية أو قومية أو عرقية. لكنه، مهما تعدّدت هذه المشكلات، لا يرى حلًا لها سوى هدم بنية المجتمع بأسرها. ولن يرضيه أي حلّ جزئي، ولا حتى إنصاف كامل لظلامته التي يشكو منها، حتى تُدمَّر منظومتنا الاجتماعية أو تقع في قبضته.
